Saturday, December 17th is full of holiday activities in Castine, Maine. Santa will be at the old Castine Variety from 12-2pm for picture taking and refreshments. Next door at the Compass Rose Book Store, world renown author and climatologist Paul Mayewski will be signing his new book "Journey into Climate" from 12-2pm. Bring your gifts to Sara Saras and join the wrapping party on Saturday from 4-7pm.
The Pentagoet Inn Gift Shop, Castine, Maine, will be open Saturday from 10-2pm for all your last minute shopping needs. Stop by for holiday refreshments. Holiday cookies, brownies, coffee cakes, granola, gift packages and unique stocking stuffers are available from the Bird Song Gift Shop. Mail order gifts are still available.
The Tarratine Gallery will be open Saturday featuring 35 local artists and craft people in their outstanding holiday show.
Dolphin Books and Prints in Castine, Maine will be open on Saturday with a selection of rare finds.
